TITLE: Print Engineer
LOCATION: 237 E. Broadway Avenue, Westerville, OH 43081
DUTIES: Coordinate all engineering work related to the installation of press machinery to clients nationwide, including foundation calculations required to install machinesin different parts of the country. Responsible for work flow calculations that are impacted by OSHA and other various safety requirements. Determine total electrical requirements for machines (including voltage conversion to compensate for cycle differences with machines from other countries). Determine installation sites for transformers with particular attention to the end of line voltage requirements for sensitive items such as press control processors and electric over pneumatic automation features. Serve as a post-installation liaison with customers to calculate work flow areas, and determine additional demands on existing services such as air conditioning as a result of the increased heat generated by the press, and existing high pressure air supply. Design and oversee installation of additional services such as either air-cooled or water-cooled control cabinets.
REQUIREMENTS: Three years work experience with Heidelberg printing equipment. Frequent travel to customer sites required.
SALARY: $72,030 per year
HOURS: 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
